Hazel Marie Wright, 99, of Crawfordsville and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Sunday September 1, 2013 in Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. She was born March 25, 1914 in Owen County, IN to Albert Henry Neese and Deborah (McMichael) Neese. Hazel is survived by a daughter, Deborah Howard and her husband Darrell of Crawfordsville; 2 sons, Charles Wright and his wife Clarabell of Terre Haute and Gary Wright and his wife Phyllis of Oakland City, IN; 4 granddaughters, Sarah Conder and her husband Jeremy, Sandy Shewmaker and her husband Paul, Jacque Hanslow and her husband Pat, and Sherri Barnes and her husband Bart; 3 grandsons, Scott Wright and his wife Margie, Brent Wright and his wife Becky, and Tom Wright and his wife Cheryl; 9 great granddaughters, 7 great grandsons, 2 great great granddaughters, 1 great great grandson, 2 step great grandsons, 2 nieces, and 2 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Wright, whom she married November 26, 1936, died in 1977, a grandson, Michael Wright, 1 sister, 3 brothers, and a half-brother.
