Hazel R. Benton, 90, of Wallingford passed away Tuesday December 25, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She was born August 23, 1922 in Foster, OH to the late Enoch Richard & Gertrude Irene Henry.
Mrs. Benton was a granny to everyone she came in contact with and loved them all very much. She was a avid bell collector, and loved to quilt, visit junk stores. She loved to go to Gatlinburg, TN and attend the Dixie Stamped. Hazel loved animals and was a true dog lover. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hubert Ronald Benton, 1 son William Luther Whitt, 2 Step-Sons James Edward & Marion Frances Benton, sister Edith Mae Allen, 1 great grandchild and 3 step great grandchildren, and a son-in-law Roy Abney.
