Hazel Manley Towery, age 91, of Huntsville, passed away on Tuesday May 17, 2011 at Big Springs Nursing Home.
Mrs. Towery was a resident of Presbyterian Towers for many years. She was a faithful member of the 3rd Baptist Church before her illness. Mrs. Towery is preceded in death by her first husband, Oliver Manley; her second husband, Roy Towery; her parents, Martin and Virgie Jennings; her sisters, Thelma Hastings, Gladys Howard, and Theresa Steakley; and her brothers, Buddy Jennings, and J. O. Jennings.
Mrs. Towery is survived by her sister, Lois Upton of Hazel Green; her brothers, Louis Jennings and wife Lillian of Harvest, and Bill Jennings and wife Louise of Murfreesboro, TN; her stepchildren, Nancy Lamb, Jan Hendrix, and Joe Towery; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for the loving care they gave to Hazel and all of the family.
