Hazel Leora “Lee” Altadonna, 89 of Centralia, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014, at Centralia Manor. Leora was born August 4, 1925, in Winfield, Kansas, the daughter of Jess Crow and Minnie (Finley) Crow.
She married Sam J. Altadonna on May 4, 1948, and he preceded her in death in November 1994.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Altadonna and wife Etta of Centralia; a daughter, Patricia King and husband Donald of Junction City; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a sister: Blanche Betton of California; a brother-in-law: Larry Brauer of Springfield, IL, and a sister-in-law: Joyce Crow of Salem; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, JoAnn Schneider, son-in-law, Ivan “Chip” Schneider, a brother: Floyd Crow, and a sister: Charlene Brauer. Leora was a cook at Centralia Jr. High School for 10-12 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Centralia. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of everyone else, and spending time with her family and friends.
