Hazel (Brenner) Dubin, 91, of Saybrook Road, Middletown, wife of the late Emanuel S. Dubin, died April 12th, 2008 at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Born in Haddam, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Jeanette (Zagoren) Brenner and had lived in Middletown most of her life. Hazel was the first accountant at Middlesex Community College and served in that capacity for many years. She was a member of Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue, Middletown, where she also belonged to the stitchery group. She is survived by two sons, Joseph W. Dubin of Newington, Fred A. Dubin of Missouri City, TX; one sister, Norma Auster of Middletown; three grandsons, Brian J. Finnegan, Darren C. Finnegan, Evan J. Dubin; and one great granddaughter, Makenzie Finnegan. She loved her family and was very proud of her sons, grandsons, and great granddaughter.
