Harry William ‘Bill’ Morrison, 73, of Hagerstown, passed peacefully holding his wife’s hand on January 16, 2023.
Bill was born in Charleston, WV, on July 24, 1949, son of the late Lenwood Franklin Morrison and Crystal Geraldine (High) Morrison. He was a 1967 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School and attended West Virginia Institute of Technology and West Virginia State College.
Bill was an active member of Communication Workers of America, serving as a local officer in various locations.
A faithful member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, both in Williamsport, Md.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by Ronald Eugene Morrison (stepbrother) and Jody Dale Spears (stepson).
He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Dawn (Jones) Morrison, son, Micah William Morrison (wife, Cathy), stepson, Eric Thomas Spears (wife, Jennifer), grandchildren, Winifred Salvaćion Morrison, Saul William Morrison, Matthew Thomas Spears, Joshua Eric Spears and Emma-Leigh Rose Spears, whom lovingly referred to him as ‘Papaw’.
