Harry Robertson Parrish, 78, formerly of 2424 Gap Road, Chatham, VA died Monday, July 4, 2011 in the VA Veterans Care Center, Roanoke, VA. Born September 16, 1932 in Pittsylvania County, he was the son of the late Eva Hubbard Parrish and the late Thomas Allen Parrish, Sr. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and was a volunteer for God’s Store House for over twenty years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam and retiring as Master Sergeant after twenty-three years of service. He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Morris and husband, Robert of Chatham; a son, Earl Robert “Rocky†Parrish and wife, Dawn of Middleburg, FL; a brother, Thomas Allen Parrish, Jr. of Chatham, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
