Harry R. Stine, Jr., 96, of Douglasville, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2018. He was the loving husband of the late Adlee (Finkbeiner) Stine.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Harry R. and Mabel (Newhard) Stine, Sr. A graduate of Bob Jones University, he went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Education, and was a teacher of English and Reading for many years in the Owen J. Roberts School District. He was a WWII navy veteran and served overseas. He was also an ordained minister, and volunteered in many capacities at the Shepherd of the Hills Church in Bechtelsville. He was a member of VFW Post 2124 in Allentown.

He is survived by his son Timothy Stine and his wife Teresa of Douglasville; daughter Lydia Toma and her husband Brad of CA; granddaughters Jennifer and Amber Stine; great-granddaughter Rece; siblings Kathleen Cope of WA, Dr. Robert Stine of IL. Harry was predeceased by his siblings Geraldine Halliday, Mary LaCroix, Rod Stine, and Royce Stine.
