Harry P. Nyerick, 91, of 1829 West St., Southington, widower of Yolanda (Gaudette) Nyerick, faded away on Monday, September 14, 2009, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at Bradley Memorial.
He was born November 27, 1917 in Forestville, son of the late Stephen and Mary (Lis) Nyerick. A resident of Southington for the past 53 years, he was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II. Harry worked as a jet engine mechanic for Pratt and Whitney in Southington for many years until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of the Southington Sportsman Association, St.
He is survived by his three sons, Paul Nyerick and his wife, Jaqueline of Granby, Robert Nyerick of Bristol, and Gary Nyerick of Lakeworth, FL; his dog, Jake; several nieces and nephews.
