Harry Keith “Demp” Maier
Harry Keith “Demp” Maier, 83 of Radcliff, KY, died on June 14, 2016 at Kindred Hospital, in Chattanooga, TN.
He was born on August 3, 1932, in Tunnelton, WV, a son of the late Harry Pearl and Nellie Raye Cool Maier.
Harry spent his career of 39 years working for Boeing as an accountant while living in Seattle, WA and Knoxville, TN. Upon his retirement, he and his wife moved to Radcliff, KY to be close his sisters. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving honorably in the United States Air Force. Harry was a life member of North Hardin V.F.W. Post 10281 in Vine Grove, KY, where spent much of his time volunteering.
He is survived by his Wife of 50 years, Delores Maier of Radcliff; three children, Sean S. Maier of Grafton; Shannon M. Maier of Kingwood; and Colleen Maier Mann (Thomas) of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, Caroline, Meredith, Harrison and Jonathan Maier and Evalynn and Abigail Mann; a sister, Susan E. Messenger of Radcliff; several nephews and nieces and their spouses, Norman and Diane Messenger, Mark and Theresa Messenger, Marsha Maier, Debbie and Randy Plum, James and Shelley Maier, Bruce and Cheryl Maier, Margaret Shaffer and Sharon Marrell; and several great nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Colleen June Maier; four brothers and three sisters in law, Ralph and Marie Maier, Darrell and Dorothy Maier, Monroe and Dorlinda Maier, Herschell Maier; a brother in law, Norman Messenger; a sister in law, Alice Maier; and a nephew, David Maier.
