Harry “Hubert” Connett, 90, of Fort Myers, Florida and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 in Calusa Harbour Health Care Center. He was born March 13, 1923 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Tennis B. Connett and Idonia Lutes Connett. He was a truck driver for Bringald Transfer, a very active, life member of both V.F.W. post 972 and American Legion post 197. He was preceded in death by his parents; Tennis B. Connett and Idonia Lutes Connett, Wife; Winifred “Peggy” Connett, and four brothers. He is survived by nieces; Marty Jarvis and Judith Hall, both of Terre Haute, nephews; Charles Eaton of North Carolina and David Eaton of North Fort Myers.
