Harry Charles Picco Sr., 78, of Oglesby, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family. Harry was born on September 16, 1943, in LaSalle to Charles and Myrtle (Creiger) Picco. He married Bonnie Hancock on June 5, 1971, in LaSalle. Harry worked as an end loader operator for Illinois Cement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, woodworking and making knives.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Oglesby; three sons, Michael (Terri) Picco of Oglesby, Scott (Kelly) Picco of Utica, and Daniel (Amy) Picco of Cedar Point; nine grandchildren, Jenna, Addison, Paige, Christopher, Alan (Hope), Travis, Ethan, Nicholas, and Jacob; one great-grandson, Bennett; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Picco; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Harry Picco Jr.; two grandsons, Dylan and Ashton Picco both in infancy; and his sisters, Shelby Picco in infancy and Darlene Chapman.
