Harrison E. “Bud” Wheeler, 88, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 in his home at Northampton Village, where he lived for 12 years. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth I. “Betty” (Bauder) Wheeler, who passed away in 1997. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Myron, Sr. and Pearl (Hearn) Wheeler. Bud served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He worked as a straddle carrier operator for Bethlehem Fabricators until retiring in 1984 and later as security for Mack Trucks. Bud was a member of the West Side Moravian Church in Bethlehem. Survivors: One son; 6 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by a step-daughter Shirley Yerger in 1977 and a brother Myron Wheeler, Jr.
