Mrs. Harriet Elizabeth Giddens, age 75 of Cleveland. Mrs. Giddens passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Habersham County Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Mrs. Giddens was born on January 31, 1935 in Douglas, Georgia to the late Elton Gibbs and Elizabeth Gray Gibbs. She spent most of her adult life in Sarasota, Florida where she worked as a medical office assistant.
Mrs. Giddens in survived by her husband, Lowell Giddens of Cleveland; son, Lowell Giddens Jr., Sarasota, Florida; daughters, Deborah DeWitt, Sarasota, Florida and Melody McAulitte of Stanton, VA.; brother Elton Gibbs, Southport, N.C.; sisters, Priscilla Walker of Dothan, Alabama and Imogene Lemke of Lake City, FL. Mrs. Giddens is also survived by her grandchildren, James DeWitt, Tabitha Giddens and Roxanne Giddens.
