Age 83 of Chesaning passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his home.A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Racy Free Methodist Church. The family will receive friends that day from 10:00am until the service. A Luncheon will follow at the Marion Springs Conservation Club.Harold was born on November 18, 1934 to Harold and Anna Cooper in Brady Township. He married Joyce Lamrouex on June 17, 1961. He also served in the National Guard and the United States Army.Harold enjoyed fishing, camping, golf, scratching off lottery tickets, going to casinos, traveling, and doing puzzles. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his faithful dog, Lady. Throughout his life, Harold worked at Harwell Boat Factory, Midland Ross, Butler Tool, and Maurell Pontoon. He was also a lifelong member of Marion Springs Conservation Club.Harold is survived by his son, Rick (Judy) Cooper; his daughter, Diane (Curt) Chandler; his son, Allen (Amy) Cooper; his 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Charlie (Judy) Cooper, Will (Sue) Cooper, and Dale (Judy) Cooper; his sister, Elaine (Bill) Fisher; his brothers-in-law, Lewis (Jacqueline) Lamrouex, and Marvin (Thanh) Lamrouex; his sisters-in-law, Irene Good and Patti Jones; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; his daughter, Karen; his parents, Harold and Anna Cooper; his brothers, Ernie Cooper and Vernon Cooper;and his brothers-in-law, Lloyd Lamrouex and Steve Good.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
