Harold Ray Hammond, Jr. age 14, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2008. He is survived by his parent’s, Ray & Melisa Hammond; sister, Amanda Renee Harris; brother’s, Chris Neil Hammond and Mike Wayne Hammond. Grandparent; Wynell Hammond and the late Searcy Neil Hammond, Ellis and Betty Frasier and great grandparents Elaine Ayers and the late James T. Ayers.
Harold Ray Hammond, Jr. better known as Lil’ Ray; was born on October 22, 1993 at Coweta General Hospital. He attended Western Elementary and Smokey Road Middle School. He was in the 8th grade. He lived mostly with his grandparents, Wynell and Neil Hammond. He shared a love of motorcycles and knives with his grandfather. When his grandfather became very ill, he helped his grandmother take care of him. Giving him bathes, fixing his pills, fixing his oxygen tanks until his grandfather’s death on December 13, 2007. His parents lived behind his grandparents and he would go up there at nights to rest and spend time with them. He loved to do building projects with his father. He was everybody’s Little Buddy with a smile that would stop time.
