Harold Michael Henson, 68, of 136 Lowland Drive, Martinsville, VA, died on Monday, June 4, 2012 at his home. Born on August 5, 1943 in Indiana, he was a son of the late Mable Webb Henson Crew and Frank Henson, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a step-son, Marty Earl Dees. Mr. Henson was a plant manager with Blue Ridge Packaging, Ridgeway, VA. He was a member of New Life Community Church, Ridgeway. Also, he was a member of the Harley Owners Group. Survivors include his wife Sharon Henson of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Kevin Atkins of Joseph Martin Highway, Martinsville; step-daughter, Melody Cole of Ohio; son, Michael Ray Henson of Ohio; step-sons, Donald Ray Dees and James Anthony Dees, both of Ohio; sisters, Patty Richardson of Alabama, Debbie Hitchcock, Wanda Weems and Jackie Guillam, all of Alabama; brothers, Frank Henson, Jr. of Ohio, Wayne Henson, Wesley Henson and Tony Henson, all of Alabama; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
