HAROLD RICHARD “HAL” MENTER, 75, Deming resident passed away Sunday June 26, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family when the Lord called him home.
He was born January 24, 1941 in Denver, Colorado to Mabel Shepard and Charles Lionel Menter. Hal served his county honorably in the United States Marines. He was a Deming resident for 18 years until his passing. His memberships included the First United Methodist Church, Deming Masonic Lodge #12 AF & AM of Denver, Colorado and Good Sam R.V. Club of Deming.
Survivors include his loving wife, Janet; son, Charles Menter and wife Janet of Colorado Springs, Colorado; step-daughter, Jerri Jackson and husband Skip of Bennett, Colorado and 6 grandchildren, Spencer of Deming, D.J and Travis of Bennett, Justin, Mason and Braeden of Colorado Springs.
Hal was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mabel Menter; 1 brother and 3 sisters.
