Harold Lamond Morrill

October 6, 1942 – May 9, 2019

Harold L. Morrill completed his earthly ministry on his dad’s birthday, surrounded by family, after an extended illness. Born on October 6, 1942, in Vernal, Utah, he was one of six children born to Charles Ellis Morrill and Martha Lamoreaux.

Harold grew up in Tridell, Utah. Upon graduating from Union High School, he served a Central States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After his mission, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree, and went on to earn a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah. He remained a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in various ward and stake callings.

After a previous marriage and seven children, he married Ruth Ann Carver on June 4, 1996, in the Ogden LDS Temple, and acquired six more children. He was a devoted husband, incredible father and grandfather; he will be greatly missed.
