Harold G. Ray, 64, Anderson, died May 15, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born October 10, 1945 in Anderson, IN, where he lived his entire life.

He served his country in the US Army. Harold was a machine repairman for 30 years at Guide and owned and operated R & R Wrecker Service. He enjoyed helping all in need and most of all watching his grand-kids play ball.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley Foust Ray. Children: Harold “Bub” Ray wife, April and Nicole L. Jackley husband, Tony. Siblings: Carolyn Speedy, Edward Ray wife, Paula and Billy Ray wife, Jackie. Brothers-in -law: LeRoy Bell wife, Joann, Harold Bell wife, Carol, Bill Bell wife, Barbara and Norman Witcher. Sister-in-law: Gladys Mack husband, Joe. Five grandchildren: Kaleb Ray, Austin Ray, Carter Ray, Emma Jackley and Sophia Jackley. Special buddies: Dick Dean, Ted Gray, Pete Millage and special friends from The Diner.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Emma Katherine Parker Wood and Vay B. Ray. Stepfather: Pha Wood. Brother: Bobby Ray. Sister-in-law: Nancy Witcher and brother-in-law: Bud Speedy.
