Harold “Fred” Hayden, 71, of 70 Gaylord Street, Bristol died October 3, 2009 at Ingraham Manor. Mr. Hayden was born June 7, 1938 in New Britain, son of the late Harold and Anna (Darigis) Hayden. He was a Navy veteran serving from 1955 until 1963 and worked as a roofer and mason for various construction firms in the Bristol area. Mr. Hayden is survived by a daughter, Melissa Hayden-Buinickas of New Britain and three sisters Beverly Osenkowski and Pat Steinackle of Bristol and Terry Johnson of Terryville. He was predeceased by three brothers, Dale, Dennis and Edward Hayden.
