Harold Frank Rich, 89, of Asheboro, was reunited with his wife in his Heavenly home on Monday, September 18, 2017.

Harold was a native of Montgomery County, a beef cow and poultry farmer, and a retired mail carrier with thirty years of service. In his youth, Harold served as a corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a charter member of Mountain of Faith Christian Church where he served as a deacon, and as church secretary. Harold never met a stranger, enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Clark Rich, his son, Marcus “Mark” Rich, parents, Clyde and Ethel Gillis Rich, sister, Jerline McPherson, and brother-in-law, Thomas McPherson.

Survivors: daughter, Karen Presnell, of the home, sister, Rebecca Carper, husband, Scotty, of Coleridge, grandchildren, Hannah Mullins, and husband, Chris, of Asheboro, Nick Presnell of Seagrove, great-grandchildren, Keegan, Kaylynn, Gunner, Justin, Seth, Abbie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
