Harold E. “Skip” Young, 78, of Williamsport, died, Sunday Jan. 5, 2020, at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen J. (Keller) Young.
Born July 16, 1941, in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Harold Young and Mildred (Conser) Danley.
Skip was a 1959 graduate of Lock Haven High School, and took night classes at Pennsylvania College of Technology for two years.
Surviving are two sons, Kent Young (Leane), and Steve Young (Lisa Kohler); three daughters, Beth Ann Moore, Marci Griswold (Glenn), and Kelly Ruhl (Jeremy); three grandchildren of the Williamsport area, Lisa Young, Isabelle and Keller Griswold; and 11 distant grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Skip was preceded in death by a sister, Dianna Evers, and a beloved dog, Sly.
