Harold “Butch” Flesch, 65 of Great Falls, passed away May 6, 2015 of natural causes.

Butch was born in Lewistown, MT on April 10, 1950 and was raised in Judith Gap. He grew up loving the outdoors of Montana, enjoying fishing, hunting, camping and the simple joy of just being outside. He enlisted in the US Air Force and served honorably from 1969-1972. He then spent his career in construction and held numerous positions throughout his life.

Butch was an avid pool player. He was also a little bit ornery and loved to tease and play with his children. They have many fond memories of family picnics and get-togethers, which always included Butch’s dog, Willow. He loved that dog!

Butch is survived by his two daughters, Rachael Wilson of Bozeman and Tina (Ryan) Atkinson Flesch Smith of Spokane Valley, WA; his sons, Douglas Atkinson of Great Falls and Brandon Flesch; four grandchildren; as well as his brother, Donald (Nell) Flesch of Orange Park, FL.

Those who have preceded him in death include his parents, Agatha Flesch Dabson and Matthew Flesch; brothers, Nile, Barney and James; and sisters, June and Judy.
