Harlan “ Huntz” J.  Williams, June 26, 1932 – March 22, 2018. Harlan passed away in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born and raised in Northwood Iowa on the family farm of his parents, Osmen and Gladys (Ayers) Williams. Harlan studied electronic engineering while in the Army and continued his career at AT&T as a communication & electronic engineer.

Harlan traveled much of the world during his career and was first married to Johanna Mae Williams, they had five children. Sally Williams, who has preceded him in death, David (Shirley) Williams from Montana, Julie King from Kansas, Casey Williams from Missouri, and Lori (Jerry) Cordova from Kansas. For the last 30 years he was married to Sylvia WIlliams of Colorado. Harlan also has 2 step daughters, Kathy (Anthony) Mennely of Kansas and Vicki (Pete)Wood of Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his step son, Jon Langdon. Harlan has a surviving brother, Warren (Ruth) Williams from Minnesota. His siblings, Burton “ Bud “ Williams, and sisters Muriel Peterson & Pearl Carlson have all preceded him in death. Harlan has 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Harlan never knew a stranger. His sense of humor will always be remembered as well as his generosity and genuine love for his family. Harlan lived his life to the fullest with vigor & strength. Harlan’s legacy of hard work, honesty and compassion will go on forever. He will be missed more than words can say.
