Today I wish to honor a beautiful courageous friend Hansa D. Mistry she was the most lovable young lady aggressive social kind person.
Some 25 or more years since I met her as a kind friendly young lady beautiful inside and outside when I worked with her sister Josie. Going to school to highly educate herself. Always trying to learn and achieve. Always with a smile never a complain.
I remember one day we ran into each other at Albertsons on Lemmon Ave. during our short lunch break picking up a quick lunch we hugged kissed and said our hello’s we stood in store eating talking hugging saying see you later. At this time her immune disease had already gotten in her sweet body she would always say “I’m fine” she was suffering but was so courageous. Never leading on but continued living her beautiful life.
All this time she had her beautiful family who she loved especially her older sister Josie and brother in law Michael who were always there for her. And handsome nephew Julian beautiful niece Samantha as time went on grand nephews were more for her to love Elijah and Jaden.
Her heart as big as it could be to share with all her Family members close and far never ending! And so many she along the way as was a friend to everyone she met!
We will all miss her but know she has gained her much earned wings!
As we say our goodbyes see you later Hansa as your Resting in Paradise! We loved you yesterday today and tomorrow!

There must be an extraordinary party going on in heaven because 2016 has taken some greats. My dear sister friend Hansa D. Mistry got her wings yesterday morning, and I know she is enjoying every aspect of this new life. It was always the smallest things with her that made her expression of love such a big thing in my life and clearly so many others. Family and friendship meant the world to her. She was so caring and encouraging, selfless, loyal, majorly supportive, tenacious… just a true friend. And that laugh and her smile… unforgettable. I am so grateful and blessed with so many good memories and conversations. #rememberingmybigsister #prayersforallofherfamilyandfriends

I remember when Hansa D. Mistry invited me to worship with her one Sunday, but it was in the middle of the storm that I saw just how unwavering her faith really was. Always praising Him, always selfless, always thinking of others despite whatever circumstances in life she found herself in. Never complaining, always smiling, always positive. Today she received her angel wings and now her soul will dance on the wings of forever

During the busyness of our everyday lives and the social media shift in the way we communicate, I encourage all to focus on giving the gift of time this holiday season.
As I mourn the loss of my dear sister-friend Hansa D. Mistry, who was a Wonder Woman in her battle for a healthy, active and independent life with chronic autoimmune disease, I am thankful that we made “time” to set up calls regularly and I made “time” to drive out to her during my last work trip.
I will miss her dearly but am comforted in knowing she has taken off her superhero cape and is at rest.

Today started out to be a very emotional day for my friends and I as we lost one of our sisterhood friends, Hansa D. Mistry. She was the one always willing and ready to get together. Hansa’s character was something no one could mock. We had so many great times but so few times together. She will always be in my heart. Love you Hansa
“Josie, I am praying for you and your family to receive peace and comfort in this time of loss. I know that you will miss your sister Hansa but take comfort in the love and beautiful memories that you shared. Remember that earth hath no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. We are here for you,
Your friend, Debbie Jackson
