Hans Schmidt, 88 of Lavallette, NJ and Bradenton, FL died on Thursday November 3, 2016 at his home in Lavallette, NJ. He was born in Germany and lived in Oradell, NJ before moving to Lavallette, NJ 20 years ago. Hans was a master automobile mechanic formerly owning Waldwick Sunoco and an instructor at Bergen Technical High School in Hackensack, NJ. Hans is predeceased by his wife Marie (Nebbia) Schmidt.
Surviving are his daughters Patricia Schmidt of Oradell, NJ and Beverly Schmidt of Clifton, NJ; his brother Paul Roth and his wife Gudrun of Germany and many other loving family and friends. Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 809 Central Ave. Seaside Park, NJ is in charge of the arrangements.
