Hannah Marie Nalani Ulibarri passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 18 on February 5, 2020 at her home in Carnuel, NM. She is survived by her mother, Linda Ulibarri, father, Ronald Ulibarri, and stepmother, Kathy Ulibarri. She is also survived by her brother, Jeremiah Ulibarri and his girlfriend, Jayme Greco, sisters Tabatha Ulibarri, Amanda Chavez, Julie Lounsbury and her husband Chuck, and Lisa Martinez, as well as by her grandparents, Richard Ulibarri, Marie and Greg Silva, Joseph and Margo Pacheco and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Hannah was a senior at Manzano High School in Albuquerque, NM. She excelled in everything she did. She was an honor student, on the Manzano bowling team, and a leader in the Manzano Student Senate where she was elected treasurer by the student body. She had many deep and lasting friendships and was known for always reaching out to the classmates who were alone or lonely. She loved and cared for everyone.
Hannah loved children and they loved her. She had a special connection with her nieces and nephews. She also impacted the lives of the many children she worked with in her previous job as a recreation specialist at Los Vecinos Community Center in Tijeras, NM.
Hannah was conscientious, kind, and considerate. She consistently put the needs of others before her own. Her generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
