Hannah M. Swan Roeder, 93, Anderson, passed away May 11, 2011 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness.
She was born February 9, 1918 in Dugger, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of her life. Hannah was a homemaker and attended New Life Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Elbert Roeder, Jr. Muriel of Greenwood; daughters, Marylyn Brown Raymond of Anderson and Carolyn McCarty of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Michael Roeder, Pamela Alfieri, Douglas Roeder, Marrietta Riley, Kevin Kimmerling, Lorinda Striegel, Susan Stiers, Michael Brown, Dwight Brown, Tom Brown, Bill Brown, Glenn Rains, Carrie Sherman and John Crago; 35 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Hannah was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Elbert N. Roeder on August 24, 2010; parents, John & Jane McVicker Swan and siblings, Agnes Collins, Jean Holly, Elizabeth Wheeler, Margaret Swan, James Swan, Bill Swan, John Swan and Dave Swan.
