Haley Orr, 94, of McCordsville, passed away March 22, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis. She was born October 17, 1918 in Perry County, KY to the late Matthew and Delilah (Fugate) Combs. She retired from Permanent Magnet Co. in Lawrence in 1993, prior to that she worked in the cafeteria at the former Western Electric Plant in Indianapolis.
Haley is survived by daughter: Gerry C. (Pat) Avery of McCordsville; granddaughter Tiffany Kraft of Brandon, FL; brother Don Combs of Alexandria; sisters: Eddath (Elmer) Dobson of Ingalls, Edith (Kencil) Fitch of Wilkinson, Essie (Joe) Sides of Anderson, Ollie Boaz of Rushville.
She was preceded in death by brothers: Thomas, Amos, Martin and Harrison; sisters: Evie Richardson, Lilly Gabbard, twin sister Hannah Smith; half-sisters: Grace Moore and Parlee Welch.
