H. June Lyman, 83, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, March 23rd at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Howard R. and Rachel (Brock) Lyman. June was a member of the Pine Street Chapel in Middletown, a member of the Middletown Grange, and had lived in Middletown in her later years but spent much of her life working as a waitress in major clubs and hotels in many parts of the country. She enjoyed making crafts and had accomplished a trip of riding her bike from CT to CA with two friends. She is survived by a brother, Charles A. Lyman and his wife, Beverly, of East Hampton; two nephews, N. Scott Lyman and his wife, Debbie, of Clinton and Richard Lyman and his wife, Pamela, of Oklahoma; three nieces, Laurie Hall and her husband, Gary, Melody Philhower and her husband, Mark, and Allison Anderson and her husband, Michael, all of East Hampton; and several great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, June was predeceased by a brother, Howard R. Lyman and his wife, Dorothy, and also her long time companion, Edward Dailey.
