Helen Berniece Hogan Belnap, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away February 26, 2016, at her daughter’s home in El Paso, Texas, from stomach cancer. She was under the care of Cima Hospice.
Berniece was born July 7, 1928, in Lincoln, Idaho, to Raymond Joseph Hogan and Emma Ann Tracy Hogan. She grew up and attended schools in Lincoln and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1946.
On December 24,1947, she married Norman Belnap in Idaho Falls. To this union were born seven children, Robert, Reed, Ralph, Randal, Rita, Roxanna, and Ellen. She raised her children while working full time in various potato processing plants. Berniece and Norman made their home in Taylor, Idaho.
