Mrs. Poore was born on September 3rd, 1937 in Chambers County, Alabama. She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving wife, mother, and MawMaw to everyone who knew her.
Mrs. Poore was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James D. Poore; sons, David Poore and James M. Poore, grandchild, Miles Sheppard.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Luke; son, Billy Poore (Shirley); grandchildren, Dusty Luke, Kelly Luke, Chris Poore (Erin), Nikki Poore, Kasey Poore, Brent Sheppard (Corvelyn) Amber Sheppard, Misty Poore, Amy Poore, and Angel-Ann Poore; twenty-two great grandchildren; four beloved great-great grandchildren. ; brother, Gary West (Elva); many nieces and nephews.
