Gwynola Bertha Wheeler Smitherman, age 88, of Athens, GA passed away Monday, June 19, 2017.
Born in Commerce, GA, Mrs. Smitherman was the daughter of the late Charlie A. and Bertha Purcell Wheeler. She worked at Bluebell and as a greeter at Walmart. Also, she worked in the receiving department at Sears where she retired.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Evans, Homer, Billy Evans, Alto, Howell O’Dillon, Crawford; a step-son, Dennis O’Dillon, Daytona, FL; sister, Jetterde Hull, Spencerville, IN; 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.
