Gwendoline Terrell York, age 74, of Pipe Creek, Texas, passed away January 16, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Wink, Texas to Edmund Duggan and Susie Iona Terrell. She attended Incarnate Word Academy and Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she married Maurice York on September 1, 1956. They lived in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and Boerne, before finally settling in Pipe Creek in 1975. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and siblings Ed Duggan Terrell, Cora Mae Melton, and Iona O”Brien. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Maurice York; her children, Christopher York and his wife Sue Seely York of Spring Branch, Texas; Kerry York Currie and her husband Major Kent Currie of San Antonio, Texas; and her grandchildren, Spencer Currie and Lila and Reese York.
