Guy passed away, July 24, 2013, at his home in Belton after a courageous 6 year battle with cancer. He was born August 18, 1945 in Mexia, Texas, the son of Guy Thornton Beckham Sr. and Maydelle Beckham. He married his wife, Tammera (Hickman) Beckham, November 30, 1991 and moved to Belton in 1989 from Hubbard, Texas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belton.
Guy loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids. He loved to hunt, and his 1957 Chevy. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Bobbie Pittman. He is survived by his wife, Tammera Beckham of Belton; four daughters, Misti Beckham Renteria and husband Ramon of San Antonio, Heather Lynn Beckham of Georgetown, Rhonda Lyn Martin and husband Dale of Ovilla, and Cindy Beckham of Sugarland; one sister, Paulette Fulton and husband Eugene of Hubbard; and four grandchildren, Isabella, Ava, and Ramon Renteria III, and William Paul Martin.
