Guy R. Dick Hamilton, 78, Anderson, died September 23, 2009 at Manor Care, Anderson after an extended illness. He was born April 14, 1931 and lived here until 1962.
Moved to Frankton with his family and lived there until 1978 he then moved back to Anderson. He took over Hamilton Construction after his father retired. He worked for Stenz Construction until retirement in 1993. Guy was an Anderson High School graduate and member of the Anderson Eagles.
He is survived by his daughter, Jo Ellyn Bagley John D. of Anderson; siblings, Jo Ann Hamilton Blann, Vicky Lebherz Kent and David Hamilton Phyllis; granddaughter, Amanda Bagley of Anderson and his favorite granddog, Izzy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Byren Hamilton who died in 1977, parents, Guy & Evelyn Stearn Hamilton, son, Richard Rick G. Hamilton in 2001 and brother, Don Hamilton in 2008.
