Mr. Guy H. Ashcraft, 71, of Rising Sun, IN. passed away at 9:30 PM, Sunday, March 22nd, 2009 at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. He was the husband of Betty J. (Thies) Ashcraft. Guy and Betty were married on November 16, 1957. Guy was born in Dearborn County, IN on December 26, 1937, the son of the late Guy H. Ashcraft Sr. and Dorthea (Oachs) McKinley. He was a graduate of Rising Sun High School, Class of 1957. He worked at Seagrams Distillery and owned Ashcraft & Son Trucking & Guy Ashcraft Repair.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ashcraft; his mother, Dorthea McKinley; 3 brothers, Charles, Norman & Steven Ashcraft; grandchildren, Jeremy Ashcraft, Patricia O’Neal, Tracey Ashcraft, Rodney Shane Ashcraft; great grandchildren, Jayce O’Neal & Keygan Meredith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Rodney W. Ashcraft and a great grandson, Kolton Ashcraft O’Neal.
