Guillermo Caban, 74, of Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in St. Lukes Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. He and his wife, Virginia (Esquilin) Caban, shared 36 years of marriage. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Guillermo and Dolores (Martinez) Caban. Guillermo was proud of his job a building manager for the Normandy 140 on Riverside Drive in New York City, retiring in 2002. He was of the Catholic faith. Guillermo especially enjoyed boating and was known by many as “Captain Willy.” Survivors: his loving wife, Virginia; daughters, Margie Lamo and her husband Larry of Huntington, NY, Ivelisse Beradelli and her husband Richard of West Palm Beach, FL, Lizette Caban of Queens, NY and Marisa Arroyo and her husband Carlos of Santa Ana, Costa Rica; step-son, Larry Chapel and his fiancé Kim of Bethlehem Township, with whom he resided; sister, Carmen Caban; brother, Nathan Caban; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter. Guillermo was preceded in death by a granddaughter Sopia Arroyo, a brother Armondo Caban and a sister Luz Maria Caban.
