Guadalupe (Lupe) Sotello, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2021 at the age of 95 and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven.
She was born on February 26, 1925 in Yorktown, Texas to Polito and Marcelina Hernandez. She married the love of her life, Pedro (Pete) Sotello in October of 1940 who preceded her in death in May 1997.
Lupe was a lifelong resident of Boerne and member of St. Peter’s Catholic church participating in many church committees volunteering countless hours assisting those in need. She was also a member of the Benedictine Oblates. Lupe worked for many years as a hair stylist at Town & Country Manor sharing her love of styling the residents’ hair and making them feel beautiful.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons Lucio, Pete Jr. and Raymond. Lupe is survived by her children – Phyllis Miller, John, Andrew (wife, Jackie), Lisa Hahn and Ben (wife, Hailey). Sisters – Janie Delaney and Josie Hernandez. 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nephews and nieces. All whom she loved deeply.
