Gregory W. Farren, 62, Indianapolis, left his earthly home on April 22, 2012 suffering a massive heart attack at his home.
He was born August 16, 1949 in Anderson, to John and Mary Farren. He graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1967 and attended Indiana University and Northwest Institute, graduating with a business education degree. He won Nixon’s lottery and served in the National Guard for 6 years. Greg worked as an accountant for Guide Corporation for 30 years. He then worked for Community Hospitals of Indianapolis for 5 years as a payroll specialist. He loved all sports and was proud to call himself a Cubs fan. He followed the Beach Boys for decades, attending numerous concerts. He was a quiet, gentle man who was kind to everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan Cunningham Farren; and his precious daughter, Allison; cousins and numerous friends. His mother, Mary Smith Farren also survives.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Farren; and his beloved dog, Silly.
