Greg Dean Stewart, son of Jerry and Bonnie Stewart, and Father of Charles Everette Stewart, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2006. He was 32 years old. His death was caused by complications from multiple gun shot wounds received during an attempted robbery. Greg was born August 11, 1973, at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. During his life, he lived in many different areas of the world and attended several school. In 1992 he graduated from Lakenheath American High School in Lakenheath, England, and immediately joined the U. S. Marines. During his enlistment, he served his country in such places as Korea and Somalia. After leaving the Marines, Greg worked for the City of Boerne for a short period of time before starting a career in Law Enforcement. Upon completion of his training, Greg worked as a Jailer in Jourdanton, a Deputy Sheriff in McMullen County, a City Police Officer in Geroge West and for the past three years, he has been a Police Officer for the City of Beeville.
