Gregory Thomas, age 59, was born on October 21, 1961. He was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He proudly served in the military and also had many jobs working for the city of Columbus. He loved and enjoyed being around his family and cooking for everyone he knew and cared about. He departed this life on May 28th, 2021 after a struggle with his health over his last 4 years. But he still lived a blessed life and traveled a lot with his family.
One of Gregory’s favorite jobs was working at a car detail company where his love for cars, old school, and new, was on full display as he would help restore these cars to look like new. He also enjoyed fishing, drawing, and training dogs. But everyone who knew him, knew that cooking was his purest passion. It was his love language.
He was preceded in death by his fiancee Felicia and his two step children Asia and Lazarus Taylor along with his mother and sister and his friends and other relatives.
I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.
