Gregory John Cuppett, age 58, passed away on February 20, 2018 at his home in Haymarket, VA. He was born on July 24, 1959 in Vienna, VA to the late Dean T. and Alzine M. (Straub) Cuppett. Gregory John was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and a faithful man of God who, with great commitment, supported his family. Though Greg was often seen as a man of few words, it was clearly evident that he held strong to his faith. He had an unwavering commitment in his Christian convictions; reading God’s word seeking his hand throughout his day. He was a good ole boy, who loved his home of 33 years, located at the base of Bull Run Mountain. He had an affinity for repairing anything everything in and outside the home– so there was hardly ever a need for a repair man. His ability to repair problem solve along with his love for cars became his life long career as an auto technician. Most who knew him did not hesitate to seek out his advice when it came to their vehicles because of his knowledge, which he used to support his family as an auto-mechanic for 43 years. Many people depended on Greg as he was a caring, consistent and genuine man of God. He served his church, Centreville Baptist Church, as an offering usher. He was a reliable, faithful friend and provided love and support to many people. Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Bonnie Cuppett of Haymarket, VA; three daughters: Ashley N. Richardson and husband Dean M. Richardson, Sara E. Cuppett, Grace E. Cuppett all of Haymarket, VA; one grandchild: Cole M. Richardson of Haymarket, VA; and five siblings: Candace M. Payne of Winchester, VA, Joyce A. Miller of Annapolis, MD, Reid T. Cuppett of Florida, Gary M. Cuppett of Ashburn, VA and Amy L.
