Gregory A. Kremer, age 52, of Bristow, VA died early Thursday morning, November 10, 2016, at Inova Hospital, Fairfax, VA following a short illness. Greg was born April 27, 1964 in Maryville, MO to Janice Leavell and Terry A. Kremer, who predeceased his son in 1996. He came to the Manassas area with his family at a young age and spent most of his life here. Greg graduated Stonewall Jackson High School, Manassas, in 1982. He received his BS in accounting from Radford University and shortly thereafter earned his CPA certification. He worked in the accounting field until last spring when he took a job as a software implementation consultant for Unanet. He was thoroughly enjoying this new challenge. He was married November 2, 1996 to Pamela Groseclose at St. Clair of Assisi Catholic Church in Clifton, VA. They recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son Joshua Dimitri, of the home, and his sister Kristin Kremer, also of Bristow. Greg had a plethora (one of his favorite words) of friends and acquaintances. He remained in contact with many of his high school friends. He played his favorite sport soccer for years until ultimately the 40 somethings realized they could no longer play as the 20 somethings. He had his golfing buddies including his sister and loved every minute on the golf course, even when things were not going his way. He relished the opportunity to hang out with friends. Greg had a love of history, a sharp mind, and always kept up with current events. He loved political discussions especially when he could play the agitator. His best quot;buddyquot; was his son Josh. They loved their quot;guy adventuresquot; whether it was riding in the deuce coupe, playing golf, or just hanging out. Even though baseball was not Gregs favorite sport, he supported Josh in his efforts. He took him to practice, coached him, and watched his games.
