Grant Montgomery Moeller, 22 of New Palestine, IN passed away at home after a lengthy illness at 1:28 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020.

Grant was born in Indianapolis on May 12, 1998 to David and Sheri (Harvey) Moeller. He was a 2017 honors graduate of New Palestine High School with a direct admit to Indiana University Kelley School of Business. While in high school he was a National Honor Society student and an athlete participating all four years in football, wrestling and track. During the past three years in Bloomington, he studied Entrepreneurship/Corporate Innovation at IU. His main interest was tactical product design with the creation of his business, Moeller Tactical.

Grant was an extremely knowledgeable collector of military and other weaponry paraphernalia, a skilled fisherman, especially with a cast net, and a metal detecting enthusiast; he found incredible joy vacationing with his family at Florida’s Gulf of Mexico. A free spirit, with a wonderful sense of humor, Grant also took great delight in making others smile and laugh. An avid animal lover, Grant was also a devoted pet dad of his beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Winston and Teenie.

An extremely loving son, brother and grandson, Grant is survived by his parents; brothers, Alec and Mitchell Moeller; grandmother, Josephine Harvey. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Harvey; grandmother, Verna Lee Moeller; grandfather, Kenneth Moeller.
