Grace Steixner, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, in the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s in Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of Lawrence P. Steixner for 62 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Karba. She was a member of St. John’s Windish Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. Grace was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, baking, and trips to Atlantic City. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Lawrence at home; son Lawrence A. and his wife Maureen of Holland; daughter Janet Shilling and her husband Donald of Green Lane; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her daughter Laura Feist who passed away January 20, 2006 and also by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
