Grace Marie Wares, 88, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Friday, October 21, 2016 in Alamo Nursing Home in Kalamazoo, Michigan in the peace and comfort of her family. She was born October 23, 1927 in Dowagiac, Michigan to Arthur and Eliza (Goins) Gillam, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Rosemary Seeney, Patricia Gillam, Nancy Pruitt; and five brothers, Arthur Gillam, Jr., Paul Gillam, Duane Gillam, Leon “Poppy” Gilliam, and her twin brother, Ace Gillam. Grace was a loving woman who got along well with family. She will be truly missed. Grace will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy, her son, Fred Ware of Otsego, Michigan; four grandchildren; one brother Donald Gillam of Cassopolis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
