Grace Cavallaro, at 84 years young, peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, surrounded by her family. Grace was a deeply loving and supportive wife and mother. Grace was married for 35 years to her favorite song & dance partner Joe, until his passing in 1987. She was mother to Tina, Annette, and Angela, and grandmother to Lauren and Chelsea.
Grace was born to Rose and Bill Calletta in Hammonton, NJ. She demonstrated her devotion to God through song as a choir member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Beverly NJ for 52 years, also lending her voice to weddings and funerals, because, as she always said, “I sing for God”. She drew great strength from her faith and was a devotee of the Blessed Mother. Grace enjoyed line dancing for the last 20 years and would always be found on the dance floor at her daughters’ concerts.
Grace belonged to the Riverfront Seniors group and acted as the Sunshine Lady. Grace enjoyed each day of her life, loved her church, family, friends, singing, dancing, and all things Italian, and will always be Amazing Grace.
