Gordon Roger Santee, age 90, of Sebring, died Sunday, November 30, 2014 at the Crandall Medical Center. He was born August 16, 1924, son of the late Curtis and Florence (Ellyson) Santee. He was a 1942 graduate of Goshen High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Gordon was a lifelong dairy farmer and he retired to Copeland Oaks 6 years ago. He was active in many dairy and farming associations and a Charter member of Goshen Ruritan Club, where he served as past President, and many other offices of the club. He was an active member of East Goshen Friends Church and served as a Trustee. He is survived by his wife, Dorla (Shoffner) Santee whom he married August 14, 1948, they were married for 66 years. Four children, Dwight (Karen) Santee of Beloit, Diane (Barry) Culpepper of Union Springs, Alabama, Elaine (Wayne) Wolfgang of Columbiana, and Sheila (Steve) Steer of Willoughby; eight grandchildren, Samantha (Bill) Hofmann, Ben (Cheryl) Santee, Andy Santee, Vince (Sherry) Culpepper, Todd (Miranda) Culpepper, and John (Lauren) Phillis, Laura Steer and Marcus Steer; thirteen great grandchildren, two step grandsons; and a sister, Wilda Winn Nicholson of Indiana.
